Do secrets reveal TOO much of an identity? I believe it is human nature to want to expose your feelings. Postsecret allows this exposure but doesn't leave the secret keeper vulnerable. Are secrets the same as secret identities?
What is a secret? How does it define us? With websites like Post Secret and Secret Chest, people can talk about their identity without being directly associated with it. Post Secret helps you visualize the identity of a random person. Within these postcards are identities which portray many of the subjects we have talked about this semester. I am going to focus on race, femininity, and sexuality and how society pressures people into turning their identities involving these themes into secrets.
